The Norway Key Club is a high school student led service organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. It empowers its members to lead and serve by cultivating leadership skills, developing friendships, and performing community service. The Norway Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up roadsides, and organizing food drives.
Norway Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Club
The Norway Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a high school student led organization that is committed to providing community service to our area youth. The Norway YAC has their own youth fund, which is a field of interest fund supporting programs in Norway and the Dickinson Area that benefit youth and families. They are a part of the Norway Area Community Foundation (NACF) and the Dickinson Area Community Foundation (DACF). As YAC members, we are trying to make a positive difference in our community through our actions!
The purpose of the Norway High School student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. The student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals.Two of the yearly events that the student council is in charge of organizing is the Homecoming events in the Fall, and Winterfest events in the Winter.
