250 Spanish I
In Spanish I students learn to discuss, ask about and respond to basic questions related to school, family, objects, and time.
251 Spanish II
A continuation of Spanish I. Students use conservational Spanish in a variety of topics, learning to negotiate, question and respond. Story-telling, presentations, and brochures are used to develop these skills. Spanish is used throughout much of the class.
Prerequisite: Spanish I
253 Spanish III
In Spanish III students continue to build on Spanish I and II. New vocabulary and grammar structures are practiced and learned. Conversation and composition skills are developed and refined. Skits, short stories and powerpoint presentations are all used in developing these skills. Spanish is used continually in the classroom.
Prerequisite: Spanish II
254 Spanish IV
In continuing to build on the previous Spanish courses, students will continue learning new vocabulary related to all aspects of life. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills will continue to be developed and enhanced. Skits, readings, presentations, videos, and more will be employed in the class. Spanish is spoken throughout the classroom.
